Home Cinema
No matter how sleek the hardware, it's not furniture, and it proliferates. Here's one way of containing it. All the cables for this cinema are out of sight as well as the plethora of CDs, DVDs and audio visual equipment. |

The cinema screen can be retracted into the overhead gallery, revealing a smaller plasma screen or maybe a picture (not in place at the time of these photographs). Full range speakers are housed in the cabinets on either side, with the subwoofer in the centre. All the AV technology is concealed but accessible simply by opening a door. At the same time it is protected from dust and knocks. With devices such as the Nintendo Wii emerging, the home entertainment room is going to be an ever more lively place. |
